Converting an SM to NAT’d

Converting an SM to NAT’d

Procedure:

1) Open the SM’s page, and navigate to Configuration > NAT.

2) Change NAT Enable/Disable to Enabled. The equipment will reboot.

3) Go back to the account in Powercode. Copy the MAC address for the CPE, then click on ‘More’ to view the customer router settings.

4) Click the Edit Device button at the bottom of the screen.

5) Click on ‘Modify MAC Address’, then enter the customer’s SM’s MAC address. Change the first octet to be 2A rather than 0A. As an example, 0A:00:3E:B3:90:D1 becomes 2A:00:3E:B3:90:D1. Enter this, then save. The equipment will reboot.
